There are 11 cabins with the following features:
*cabins are one large room
*most have a balcony/porch/deck with gorgeous views
*10 single beds per cabin
*no bunked beds
*bathrooms are not in cabins
*overhead lights
*beds are movable, so could be pushed together
*if you wanted to sleep more than 10, air mattresses would fit in addition to the 10 beds
*there are curtains on the windows
Here is what we'd recommend:
a) bring a small lamp per cabin to avoid having to turn on overhead lights when others are sleeping (or just use a flashlight)
b) bring your own bedding ~ only a mattress is provided
c) get a group of 10 people together that will share a cabin and email that to Michele so that we can assign cabins to groups
*we can have family-style cabins and
*we will have men's/women's cabins - you can make your own groups
*if you just want to be assigned to a women's / men's cabin - just let me know (similar to McCormick's)
d) there isn't much privacy, so if you are taking a cabin for your family, you might consider bringing some kind of contraption for making some area for changing, etc. I've thought we might bring a tent to set up inside as a 'changing' area.
e) we cannot drive up to the cabins, so pack light and if you can bring something that will help you carry your belongings to the cabin.
